Data Visualization Books

Data visualization books are quite thin on the ground. A rapidly evolving area of Business Intelligence, much of the background to data visualization can be found on the internet via blogs, articles, white papers and demo websites.

However, two of the most important people in the Data Visualization arena have written books - Edward Tufte, famous for his Sparklines, and Stephen Few - creator of bullet graphs. Note that the Tufte book 'Beautiful Evidence' is quite difficult to get hold of and as such may command a premium price.
